Unexpectantlly, God let us to homeschooling because we were displeased with our neighborhood schools. Then Covid hit but we kept thriving. Technology and anxiety were documented to be overwhelming students but we kept thriving. Values that did not align with us, were being forced while academic results were plumetting. Our family rhythm and harmony rose as a priority, so we kept thriving. I've learned that giving your children the best does not have to mean giving them the most expensive life (though it can include that).  It means giving them an intentional one.

For 12 years now, I’ve been homeschooling on the South Side of Chicago—building an education and family life that reflects something I deeply believe:

Our children deserve both excellence and joy.

My background taught me how to think systematically, create structure, solve problems, manage resources, and pursue results.

My life as an artist and singer taught me something equally important: creativity matters. Beauty matters. Curiosity matters. And childhood should actually feel like childhood.
